- Went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI in game three and hit his fourth double of the weekend with two runs and two RBI in game four

Auburn completed a four-game sweep of UIC by outscoring the Flames 44-7 … the 44 runs scored were the most in a series since also scoring 44 runs in a three-game series at Alabama in 2018 … the Tigers totaled 50 hits and struck out 19 times … the team's 50 hits were the most in a three-game span since recording 55 hits over four games on three occasions in 2018 … conversely, the pitching staff allowed 23 hits and struck out 49 batters … Auburn claimed its 10th straight win in a season opener with a 5-3 win Friday … the attendance of 3,753 on Opening Night marked the third-largest record attendance on an opening night in program history … Auburn then defeated UIC 18-1 in game two of the series, marking the most runs in a game since scoring 20 runs in the series finale of the aforementioned series against the Crimson Tide and marking the largest margin of victory since also defeating BYU by 17 runs that same season … the Tigers scored 11 runs in the fourth inning of the series finale, marking the second time in the last seven games dating back to the finale of the Chapel Hill Super Regional to score 11 or more runs in an inning … Judd Ward became the first Auburn player to hit for the cycle since Clete Thomas in 2005 in game one of Saturday's doubleheader … Ward tripled in the first, singled in the fourth, homered in the sixth and doubled in the eighth … Ward and Rankin Woley each tallied career high with four hits in the contest … for Woley, it was also his third career game with two doubles … Ryan Bliss turned in two or more hits and scored two or more runs in three of the four contests … he led the way with seven hits and tied for the team lead with six RBI … Garrett Farquhar matched Bliss with six RBI on the weekend … he recorded two hits and four RBI in the fourth inning of the finale … Auburn's starting pitchers in Tanner Burns, Jack Owen, Richard Fitts and Bailey Horn went 4-0 and turned in a 1.89 ERA … Owen, Fitts and Horn combined to hold the Flames scoreless in the final 9.2 innings pitched by a starting pitcher over the weekend … the starters also combined to strike out 29 batters in 19 innings pitched … the staff as a whole lowered its ERA to 1.85 … Cody Greenhill remains in sixth place in program history as he tallied his 18th career save in the season opener … Greenhill struck out a career high six batters … 14 newcomers, including eight position players and six pitchers, made their Auburn debuts over the weekend … of the eight position players, six recorded at least one hit and drove in a run.
