OPELIKA, Ala. – Despite battling windy conditions, the No. 10 Auburn men's golf team has two squads in contention for the Tiger Invitational title following the second round Monday afternoon. No team shot below par at the par-72, 7,289-yard Grand National Lake Course.

"It was windy, and not consistently windy," associate head coach Corey Maggard said. "It was down. It was across. It was tough to gauge all day. We scrapped it around and probably could have done a little better with our composure dealing with the wind, but we're looking forward to getting after it tomorrow."

Auburn's "B" Team is just one stroke off the lead at 1-under (575), while the main squad is only three strokes behind leaders ULM at 1-over (577) heading into Tuesday's final round.

"I'm proud of our depth," Maggard added. "We've got a 'B' team that has good players on it as well. We take a lot of pride in the depth that we have. Those guys will be trying to beat the 'A' team and that will be fun to watch tomorrow."

C.J. Easley is second overall at 5-under (68-71--139) and was one of only 10 golfers in the 102-player field to shoot below par Monday. He notched three birdies and 13 pars in his second tour of the week and is three stokes off the individual title.

"I hit the ball really well today, but I just couldn't get any putts to fall like they did yesterday," Easley said. "I feel really good about my game overall. I'm looking forward going into the round tomorrow with a lot of momentum."

Graysen Huff is tied for fifth at 2-under (69-73--142). Huff caught fire early with three birdies in the opening eight holes.

Jovan Rebula and Alex Vogelsong are tied for ninth at 1-under. Rebula (71-72--143) fended off a 3-over front nine and recovered with a 3-under back nine to finish at even par. Vogelsong (72-71--143) had a similar round after combating a 1-over front nine with a 2-under back nine.

Andrew Kozan and Jake Milanowski round out Auburn's top-20 contingent. Kozan is at even par (69-75--144) and is tied for 12th, while Milanowski is tied for 17th at 1-over (72-73--145).

The Tigers' lineup was completed by Austin Coggin, Reagan Harrell, Brandon Mancheno and Wells Padgett.

Coggin is tied for 42nd at 5-over (72-77--149), while Padgett is tied for 47th at 6-over (72-78--151). Mancheno is tied for 73rd at 10-over (78-76--154) and Harrell is tied for 92nd at 14-over (82-76--158).

Auburn is paired with North Alabama and ULM for the final round, beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT off the No. 1 tee box.

The Tiger Invitational is free to attend and open to the public. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
