NORMAN, Okla. – History has been made as Auburn golfer Jovan Rebula was selected as a PING All-American for the third time by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Rebula is just the third golfer in program history to be a three-time All-American, joining Jimmy Green (1990, 1991, 1992) and Lee Williams (2002, 2003, 2005).
"I'm incredibly proud of Jovan," head coach Nick Clinard said. "It is quite the honor to be a three-time All-American, and Jovan has earned it with all the hard work and effort he puts in regularly. When you do the right things on a daily and weekly basis, awards like this happen."
As a third-team honoree, Rebula is the 31st All-American in program history. Last season, he became the seventh Tiger ever to be a two-time All-American.
Rebula set the single-season record for lowest stroke average at 70.19 during the 2019-20 campaign. His 71.4 career average is second in the Auburn record books, trailing only Blayne Barber (2010-12) at 70.83.
The George, South Africa native was the top finisher for the Tigers four times and logged five top-10 finishes in the seven tournaments played. Seventeen of his 21 rounds were at or below par with seven that were in the 60s.
