AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 7 Auburn men's golf team is scheduled to return to action March 28-30 for the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. The three-round event is set to take place at the par-72, 7,220-yard Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.
"We're excited to be able to compete again this week in the Lowcountry," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "Bulls Bay is a great venue, it's different and it's unique. It can get very windy and is a links-style golf course.
"We've got some really good programs in the field, both from the major and mid-major level. There will be some teams that we haven't seen this year, which can be a good thing for our guys."
The Tigers are joined in the 16-team field by No. 18 NC State, College of Charleston, Duke, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kent State, Kentucky, Marquette, Missouri, Purdue, South Carolina, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wichita State.
Auburn has had success in the annual event, winning team titles in 2012 and 2014.
The Tigers will look to repeat that form and will field a lineup of J.M. Butler, C.J. Easley, Graysen Huff, Andrew Kozan, Wells Padgett and Alex Vogelsong.
