Two in top 15 as Tigers complete second round in The Magic City

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After the second round of play Tuesday at The Collegiate Invitational at the Country Club of Birmingham Tuesday, the Auburn men's golf team has two players inside the top 15 in Andrew Kozan and Alex Vogelsong.

Kozan is tied for sixth at even par (70-72--142), while Vogelsong is tied for 14th at 2-over (72-72--144). The duo combined for four birdies and rattled off a par or better on 17 of their 18 holes combined on the back nine.

As a team, the Tigers are tied for eighth at 16-over (289-295--584) with Charlotte and Vanderbilt. Clemson and Tennessee lead the field at 3-over (571) at the par-71 course.

C.J. Easley moved up into a tie for 26th at 4-over (74-72--146). The sophomore carded three birdies, including two on the back nine, and added 12 pars.

J.M. Butler (74-75--149), Graysen Huff (73-76--149) and Wells Padgett (75-74--149) are all tied for 44th at 7-over. The trio combined for 40 pars on the afternoon.

Jovan Rebula rounded out the contingent and is tied for 61st at 10-over (76-76--152) after 36 holes.

Auburn is paired with Charlotte and UAB for the final round Wednesday, beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT off the No. 1 tee box. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
