AUBURN, Ala. – No. 11 Auburn (7-1-0, 1-0-0 SEC) hits the road for the first time in nearly on a month to take on No. 17 Tennessee (7-1-0, 0-1-0 SEC) Thursday at 6 p.m. CT at Regal Soccer Stadium.
 
"It's a really tough week for us and a great challenge," head coach Karen Hoppa said. "Having to go on the road at Tennessee, we expect them to be really hungry and we expect the environment to be really difficult."
 
The game will be available for streaming on SEC Network+.
 STARTING XI 
Auburn's 7-1-0 start is tied for the second-best eight-game start in program history.
 
The Tigers went on a program-record 11-game winning streak from the end of last spring to the start of this season and are 13-2-1 in 16 games since the start of last spring.
 
The team is outscoring opponents 22-6 this season and 38-9 in the last 16 games.
 
Auburn has allowed multiple goals on just one occasion in the last 16 contests and is turning in a 0.55 goals against average during the span.
 
On the other side of the ball, the team has scored multiple goals in 11 games during the span, including 10 of the last 11.
 
The Tigers have had a player score multiple goals in a game seven times this season, including a pair of braces from Anna Haddock and a hat trick from Carly Thatcher.
 
The seven multi-goal performances this season are the most since 2000 (eight).
 
Haddock ranks top five in the SEC and top 20 in the NCAA in goals (seven) and points (17).
 
Her seven goals through the first eight games of the season are the most by an Auburn player since Tammy Waine scored 12 goals in the span to start the 2000 season.
 
Auburn checked in at No. 11 in this week's coaches' poll, marking the fifth straight week the team has appeared in the top 15.
 
Five of Auburn's first six SEC contests and seven of 10 total conference games are against teams either ranked or receiving votes.
 
The Tigers have earned a result in seven straight matchups with Tennessee since 2012.
 PLAYER TO WATCH: MARISSA ARIAS
Marissa Arias is tied for second on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists.
 
She made her first career start against Alabama A&M and recorded a brace while adding an assist against the Bulldogs.
 
Arias most recently scored the third and final goal in the team's SEC opening win against Georgia.
 SCOUTING TENNESSEE 
Tennessee enters the second weekend of conference play with a 7-1-0 overall record and 0-1-0 mark in league play after dropping its SEC opener at Arkansas.
 
Led by junior goalkeeper Lindsey Romig, the Volunteers didn't allow a goal in the first seven contests of the season, ranking second in the country in shutout percentage (0.875) and first in the SEC in goals against average (0.375).
 
Tennessee also ranks near the top of the league and is top 25 in the NCAA in goals (26), assists (23) and points (75).
 
Twelve Volunteers have scored this season, led by Claudia Dipasupil and Taylor Huff's five goals apiece.
