He's back! Cam Newton signed with the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, and three days later, he made his 2021 debut in the same stadium where he won the BCS National Championship with Auburn. It was vintage Cam, too, as his first two touches both resulted in touchdowns as the Panthers rolled the first-place Arizona Cardinals, 34-10.

Josh Bynes, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Coming off an 11-tackle performance last week, Bynes picked up right where he left off with four tackles, a pass defended and a sack against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. It was his first sack since Sept. 13, 2020. After being released by the Panthers before the season, Bynes signed with the Ravens and made his way from the practice squad to a starting role. In four starts, Bynes has 27 tackles, five tackles for loss and three passes defended. 


Jack Driscoll, OL, Philadelphia Eagles
Driscoll continues to be a stronghold for an Eagles' offensive line that has been riddled with injuries. On Sunday, the line allowed only one sack and protected well for quarterback Jalen Hurts who threw for nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-13 win over the Denver Broncos. Driscoll graded out the highest in pass blocking at 86.8, per PFF. He's not played 388 snaps this season and has only allowed one sack. 


Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers
After being out of the league for over a month, Newton returned to Carolina on Sunday with a triumphant bang. The former No. 1 overall pick by the Panthers in 2011 scored on each of his first two plays. His first touch, he took it in himself from two yards out, and then on the next drive, he checked in at the goal line and threw a two-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0. Newton finished 3 of 4 through the air and rushed for 14 yards on three carries. Carolina is expected to give Newton the start at quarterback next Sunday.


Arryn Siposs, P, Philadelphia Eagles
In his first season in the NFL, Siposs has taken full control of the punting duties for Philadelphia and is rocking a 46.3 average, good for 17th in the league. On Sunday, in a 30-13 victory over the Denver Broncos, the former Auburn punter recorded a season high average of 51.3 per punt with a long of 54. He pinned the Broncos on their own 12-yard line in the fourth quarter, and his 54-yard bomb in the second quarter flipped the field for the Eagles.
