Marlon Davidson accomplished something Sunday he never did while at Auburn. He also got the best of quarterback Tom Brady … again.
That and more in this week's Auburn in the NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 13
Montravius Adams, DT, Pittsburgh Steelers
A week ago, Adams was on the Saints practice squad having not played in a game since October. On Sunday, he made his Steelers debut and played 34 quality snaps, recorded two tackles, and deflected a pass in a critical 20-19 win over division rival Baltimore. One of Adams tackles saved a potential game-changing run. After the game, head coach Mike Tomlin said the Steelers "may have found a hidden gem" in Adams.
New Steelers NT Montravius Adams' biggest/best play Sunday. Flow against this toss play, doesn't allow himself to be cutoff by the BSG, make a diving tackle on Freeman.

If he can't make this play, Freeman has a LOT of green in front of him. Ends up being just a two-yard gain. pic.twitter.com/WkOOmrNDzS
Marlon Davidson, DL, Atlanta Falcons
We got a BIG MAN touchdown Sunday in Atlanta. With 22 seconds left in the first half, Davidson stepped in front of a pass from Tom Brady, corralled it with one hand and walked into the end zone for his first touchdown since his high school days. Adding to the significance, it's the only non-offensive touchdown scored by the Falcons this season. Earlier in the year, Davidson sacked Brady which means his first career sack and first career interception have both come at the expense of the 7-time Super Bowl champion.

Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Davis, or @LowkeyCarlton, made a not so low-key return to the field Sunday after missing over two months with a quad injury. The star cornerback jumped right back without missing a beat as he finished with three tackles, three passes defended and a fumble recovery in the Bucs' 30-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The fumble recovery was the third of Davis' NFL career and helped preserve the team's 3-point lead in the third quarter. Since the start of the 2019 season, Davis now has 45 passes defended which is tops among all NFL players.
Carlton Davis said he felt like himself all week in practice. It showed during the game.

Goes onto say he feels the best he's ever felt as a pro.
Jamel Dean, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Like his counterpart Davis, Dean was impressive for the Buccaneers in their 30-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Before exiting the game late due to concussion protocol, Dean was only targeted three times and did not allow a single yard. The third-year cornerback broke up a would-be touchdown pass in the end zone on 3rd-and-goal to hold the Falcons to a field goal. Dean's PFF score of 71.7 was fifth highest on the team.
