AUBURN, Ala. – After earning its second consecutive Southeastern Conference series win and its first series win over Georgia since 2017, Auburn softball (39-11, 11-10 SEC) was ranked across all four major polls for the 11th straight week while also earning its highest ranking of the 2022 season.
 
Auburn rose one spot to No. 15 in the latest USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll, its highest overall ranking of the season. The Tigers also jumped two spots to No. 16 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25. The ranking is also Auburn's highest by the publication.
 
The Tigers also jumped a pair of spots to No. 17 in the D1 Softball Top 25. For the second straight week, Auburn held on to its No. 19 ranking in the Softball America poll.
 
In the latest NCAA Division I RPI rankings, Auburn jumped a pair of spots to No. 26.
 
Auburn earned three wins over the weekend, including a series victory over then ranked No. 15 Georgia. Freshman Bri Ellis came through with crucial hits in the series to earned her second SEC Freshman of the Week honor.
 
Oklahoma remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the country for the 12th consecutive week. The Sooners hold a 45-1 record this season. A total of nine SEC programs were ranked in the latest polls. Joining the Tigers were No. 5 Arkansas, No. 6 Alabama, No. 10 Florida, No. 13 Kentucky, No. 14 Tennessee, No. 16 Georgia, No. 19 LSU and No. 24 Missouri.
