AUBURN, Ala. – No. 14 Auburn soccer (3-0-3) will finalize a three-game homestand as UMass Lowell (2-3-1) makes the trek to The Plains for a 6:30 p.m. CT match with the Tigers on Thursday, Sept. 8.

"UMass Lowell is a very unknown opponent," Auburn head coach Karen Hoppa said, "but we do know that they're a great team and that they're well-coached. We're going to prepare for them like we would any other game and we're going to continue to focus on getting better every game."

The game will be available for streaming on SEC Network+ and will also be broadcast on WEGL 91.1.

Admission to the Auburn Soccer Complex is free, and Thursday's match will be Auburn Soccer's annual Pups at the Pitch night. Fans are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the game. Each pet will require a completed waiver upon arrival. Waivers may be located at the athletics marketing table.

Defense has been the name of the game for the Tigers six games into the 2022 campaign. Auburn's back line has yet to allow a goal in the run of play this season, with the lone goal conceded come via penalty kick at No. 2 Florida State. Auburn's 0.17 goals against average ranks second in the SEC and fourth in the nation.

With a clean sheet against Army, junior goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska has now recorded back-to-back-to-back shutouts for the second time in her career. Prohaska ranks first in the SEC in shutouts and top-five in saves, save percentage and goals against average.

Offensively, the Tigers are led by a trio of attackers, graduate student Sabrina McNeill, junior Anna Haddock and sophomore Sydnie Thibodaux, all with a pair of goals apiece. Haddock and senior Sydney Richards hold the team lead for assists with three.

Another piece in the Tigers' attack, Mallory Mooney, is now back on the pitch after recovering from a knee injury over the offseason. Mooney has five goals and eight assists to her credit through 39 career games of action.

Up next, the Tigers head to Birmingham for one final nonconference bout, squaring off with Samford Sunday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. CT.
