AUBURN, Ala. — Riding the momentum following an undefeated week, Auburn soccer looks to capture its third-straight victory on the road Friday, Oct. 14 at Texas A&M.

The match will be streamed via SECN+ with David Ellis and Jeff Given on the call. Kickoff from Ellis Field is set for 7 p.m. CT.

"Texas A&M is very similar to us in the sense that they are great team that hasn't really gotten some of the results that they deserve," Tigers head coach Karen Hoppa said. "They are very dangerous, and they proved that with a ranked win last week. It'll certainly be a tough task, but I am excited to watch our group rise to the challenge."

Texas A&M began the conference season with four-straight losses but has since rebounded with a 2-2 draw against LSU and a 2-1 victory at No. 20 Ole Miss.

Auburn (6-3-5, 2-3-1) heads into the match looking to walk away with its first ever victory in College Station. Led by 30th-year head coach G Guerrieri, Texas A&M (7-5-3, 1-4-1) leads the all-time series 8-4-0, however, the last time both teams met, it was the Tigers who earned the 3-0 victory.

Experience will play a key factor in this Friday's showdown as Auburn returns 11 total players who saw at least 45 minutes in the previous meeting, including all three goal-scorers in M.E. Craven, Sydney Richards and Anna Haddock.

On the defensive end of the ball, alongside Craven, Auburn will rely on Hailey Whitaker and Maddie Prohaska to bolster its back line against Texas A&M threats once more. In last year's matchup, Prohaska went the distance, facing zero shots on-goal from Aggie strikers.

Statistically, Auburn holds the overall defensive advantage while the Aggies have proven to be more dangerous offensively. The Tigers have conceded eight goals and scored 22 whilst Texas A&M has netted 29 and surrendered 15.

Currently, Auburn is the only team in Division I that has played at least 14 games and has yet to allow multiple goals in any given match.
