AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 4 Auburn equestrian team is set to host rival and No. 5 Texas A&M Friday at the Auburn University Equestrian Center. The two squads will face off in a Southeastern Conference match up at 3 p.m. CT and admission is free.
"I'm looking forward to facing one of our rivals in front of the Auburn Family tomorrow," head coach Greg Williams said. "Texas A&M are the national and SEC runners up from last year and will be tough competitors. Our team is riding great this year so this will be a good time to come and see them take on a fierce opponent."
SPECTATOR INFORMATION
In honor of Veteran's Day, we will be having a moment of silence for fallen hero's prior to the start of the contest. In addition, military coins will be given to current members of the military as well as to veterans.
For Auburn University students, there will be a bucket hat giveaway. Students must show up and show their student I.D. to enter.
The Kid's Zone will be open with a bounce house, pony rides and paint-a-pony. In addition, kids who bring their fliers in from school will be entered for prizes.

AUBURN LINEUP
The Auburn lineup will remain the same with an exception to Reining from last week.
Senior Ava Stearns and junior Ellie Ferrigno along with sophomore Mary-Grace Segars are set to lead the way on the Jumping Seat side of competition. Both Stearns and Ferrigno are undefeated in Fences at 5-0-0 with one MOP apiece. Segars is 5-0-0 in Flat with one MOP and also has three wins in Fences.
Fifth year Emma Kurtz has six wins in Jumping Seat action and will compete in both Fences and Flat for the squad. Sophomore Sophee Steckbeck is third on the team with a 4-1-0 record in Fences and has three wins in Flat.
The Fences corps is 9-1-0 over the last two meets with a sweep vs. UT Martin, while Flat is 7-3-0.
The Horsemanship crew have found success this season, putting together a 9-1-0 mark over the last two meets. That includes a sweep at South Carolina.
Senior Maddie Spak has a team-best 5-0-0 record in the event with one MOP. Three Tigers in junior Madison Parduhn and freshmen Caroline Fredenburg and Alexia Tordoff all have four wins apiece.
Senior Olivia Tordoff is enjoying a three-match winning streak with back-to-back MOPs.
The Reining corps will be led by senior Boo Kammerer and juniors Isabella Tesmer and Kate Buchanan. All three have three wins on the year, while Tesmer scored a team-best 72.5 on the season last week at South Carolina.
Freshmen Caroline Buchanan and Alexia Tordoff will also ride for the Tigers. Tordoff also has three wins on the year with one MOP.
AUBURN-TEXAS A&M SERIES
Auburn leads the all-time series, 25-7, against the Aggies and have won 16 of the last 18 meetings. The squad is 12-0 overall in meets competed in Auburn.
The two teams last met in the 2022 SEC Championship match where the Tigers topped the Aggies, 11-8, to win their fourth-straight conference title.
UP NEXT
Auburn closes out the fall portion of the schedule next week, hosting Bridgewater and defending national champion Oklahoma State. The Tigers and Bridgewater will compete in a jumping seat-only contest on November 17 at 11 a.m. CT. Auburn and the Cowgirls will go head-to-head the following day, November 18, at 3 p.m. CT.
