AUBURN, Ala. — Following yet another steady season on The Plains, Auburn soccer junior Anna Haddock has been named United Soccer Coaches Third-Team All-Southeast Region, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
The third honor of Haddock's career also marks the ninth consecutive season that a Tiger was voted All-Region.
"More than thankful to be named to the All-Region team this year," Haddock said. "It's something I could not have done without my teammates. There are some truly incredible players on the list, and to be alongside them is an honor. I cannot wait to get the next season started as these postseason awards just fuel the fire."
As a team captain, Haddock started all 18 matches of the 2022 campaign at attacking mid, logging 1,521 minutes while netting a trio of goals and assisting six others. Complimentary to her on-field efforts, the Bowling Green, Kentucky product also dominated in the classroom, posting a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA to earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
Prior to the season, Haddock was also tabbed to the SEC Preseason Watch List as well as the prestigious Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List.
All-Region players were selected via voting by member coaches in their respective regions. All-America teams will be announced Friday, December 2.
