AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team moved up to No. 5 per RoadToNationals.com after posting a season-high score vs. Arkansas on Friday. The weekly rankings are based on the average of all scores so far this season.
 
The Tigers have been ranked inside the Top 10 for 17-straight weeks, dating back to Week 1 of the 2022 season.
 
Auburn is coming off a 197.500 in its home opener against Arkansas last Friday. That score was a season high for the team.
 
"This is a great indicator that we have a high potential to be great and can still consistently perform at a high level," head coach Jeff Graba said. "I'm very excited to enter another week ranked this high. However, the work has just begun, and we still have a ways to go."
 
This week's top teams see Oklahoma at No. 1 (197.817) and Florida at No. 2 (197.66). Michigan is third (197.500), Utah is fourth (197.433) and the Tigers come in at No. 5 with a 197.350 average.   
 
The rest of the Southeastern Conference is among the top 25 – LSU (No. 8), Kentucky (No. 10), Alabama (No. 13), Missouri (No. 14), Georgia (No. 17) and Arkansas (No. 23).
 
Auburn ranks fourth nationally on vault with a 49.333. The squad ranks fifth on floor (49.400) after posted a season-best 49.550 against the Razorbacks. The Tigers are also sixth on bars (49.342) and seventh on beam (49.275).
 
Individually, sophomore Sunisa Lee is second in the all-around at 39.675. The St. Paul, Minnesota product is fifth on bars (9.942), tied for sixth on vault (9.917) and tied for seventh on beam (9.908).
 
Fifth year Derrian Gobourne is tied for third on floor with a 9.933 and has posted back-to-back 9.95s for the team in the event. She and senior Cassie Stevens are tied for 12th on vault as both have a 9.9 average.
 
Auburn remains in Neville Arena this week, hosting No. 20 North Carolina State. The Tigers and the Wolfpack will face off at 7 p.m. CT and the meet will be streamed on SEC Network+.
