HILTON HEAD, S.C. – No. 15 Auburn will begin their third tournament in the month of February on Monday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in front of a national television audience on Golf Channel.

"It'll be our third tournament in a row with a great field and we'll be on a wonderful golf course at the Long Cove Club," Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen said about the event. "It is a Pete Dye design and is probably one of the best ones that he has ever done. The whole atmosphere is great and our team really enjoys this tournament. Our team thrives on a tough golf course and it's one of our favorite tournaments, so everyone is looking forward to playing."

The field at this year's event is very strong, as 13 of the 17 teams in the field are ranked in Golfweek's top 25 including top 10 teams No. 2 Wake Forest, No. 3 Oregon, No. 4 South Carolina, No. 6 LSU and No. 10 Arizona State.

Junior Anna Foster will be at the top of the Tigers' lineup this week after getting off to a hot start in 2023. Foster finished third at the Nexus Collegiate to begin her 2023 campaign then followed up by tying for 13th place at the Moon Golf Invitational on Tuesday. The Dublin, Ireland native's consistent play also lowered her career scoring average to 72.94, which is now second in program history (with a minimum of 60 rounds) behind teammate Megan Schofill.

Redshirt freshman Casey Weidenfeld will look to continue her momentum after shooting 6-under par (210) at the Moon Golf Invitational and firing a career-tying low round of 68 (-4) in round two. She finished in a tie for 10th, which was the best finish of her collegiate career.

Auburn's lineup will feature a change from the previous two tournaments, as junior Elina Sinz will re-enter the starting five for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate after being out of the team lineup for the previous two tournaments.

In round one, the Tigers will be paired with players from Wake Forest and Texas starting on the 10th hole beginning at 8:20 a.m. CT.

All three days of the tournament will be televised on Golf Channel from 1:30-4:30 p.m. CT as well as streaming on Peacock. Golf Channel's College Central will also be providing highlights and news from the event on the air beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT. Live scoring of the tournament will be available on Golfstat.com as well as the GolfStat mobile app.
