ATLANTA — Auburn soccer extended its spring winning streak to four games with a 1-0 victory over Tennessee Saturday at the Georgia Sports Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
Both squads traded blows for 79 minutes before the Tigers broke the scoreless stalemate in minute 80 thanks to freshman Dylan Driver's fourth goal of the spring.
Junior forward Maddie Simpson initiated the play, spinning a defender off a throw and driving to the goal line for a driven cross back to Driver for a one-touch shot inside left post.
Next up, Auburn treks to Tallahassee to face off against Florida State and close its exhibition season. First kick on April 22 is set for 1 p.m. CT.
