AUBURN, Ala. – No. 9 Auburn will play in the fourth and final event of its fall schedule at the Stanford Intercollegiate presented by Dr. Condoleezza Rice at Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, California, Friday through Sunday. The Tigers are making their first appearance in the tournament since the 2015-16 season.

The Tigers are joined in the field by 16 foes ranked in the Golfweek Top-50 and three teams within the top five, including No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 Oregon and No. 5 Texas.

Redshirt sophomore Casey Weidenfeld is in the top spot on the Auburn lineup card this weekend after posting a runner-up finish in her last event at the Tar Heel Invitational. She fired her lowest career 18-hole score of 65 during the final round and tied the lowest 54-hole score of her career of 206 at the event. Weidenfeld holds the best scoring average on the team through three events at 70.22. 

Rachel Gourley will be making her season debut for the Tigers and playing in her sixth tournament since arriving on the Plains last season, while Carys Worby is back in the team lineup for the second time this fall. Ami Gianchandani and Anna Foster will both be featured in the Auburn lineup as well.

Auburn will begin the opening round at Stanford Golf Course Friday morning at 10:25 a.m. CT off the 10th tee. Live scoring of the event will be available on Golfstat.com and the Golfstat mobile app.

U.S. Women's Amateur champion Megan Schofill and teammate Katie Cranston will not compete in the event as they are preparing for the World Amateur Team Championships that will begin Wednesday, Oct. 25, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
