AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn track and field team released its 2024 indoor and outdoor schedule Friday that includes seven indoor meets and 11 outdoor meets.

Led by second-year head coach Leroy Burrell, the indoor team kicks off the season with the inaugural Harvey Glance Tide & Tiger Dual Meet featuring a scored dual meet between Auburn and Alabama on January 11 at the Birmingham CrossPlex. The meet is named after former Auburn Olympic gold medalist Harvey Glance, who passed away in June 2022. A native of Phenix City, Glance also served as head coach of the track and field program at both institutions for a combined 20 years.

Following the dual meet in Birmingham, the Tigers will travel to Nashville to compete at the Vanderbilt Invitational, January 19-20, followed by the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, January 26-27.

February starts off with the team splitting duties the weekend of February 9-10 in Clemson, South Carolina at the Tiger Paw Invitational and in Boston at the David Hermery Valentine Invitational before postseason action begins. The team returns to Fayetteville for the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships, February 23-24.

The indoor season wraps up March 8-9 at the NCAA Championships in Boston.

Competition picks back up on March 15-16 with the outdoor season in Atlanta at the Yellow Jacket Invite on the Georgia Tech campus. The team will then travel to Florida on back-to-back weekends as they head to Tallahassee (March 21-22) for the FSU Relays and Gainesville (March 29-30) for the Florida Relays the following week.

April will feature four meets, starting with the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, April 5-6, followed by the Tom Jones Invite in Gainesville, April 12-13. On Saturday, April 20, Auburn will host its lone meet of the season, the Tiger Track Classic, at the Hutsell-Rosen Track, before heading to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for its last regular season meet on April 27 at the LSU Invitational.

Florida will host the SEC Outdoor Championships starting on Thursday, May 9 with the three-day meet concluding on Saturday, May 11. Two weeks later, Auburn will head to the NCAA East Preliminaries in Lexington, Kentucky, May 22-25, with sights set on qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, June 5-8, in Eugene, Oregon and historic Hayward Field.
