MELBOURNE, Fla. – No. 15 Auburn holds a share of the lead through the first two rounds of the Moon Golf Invitational with LSU at 3-under (573). Monday's second round took place on a soggy Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Florida, after play was canceled on Sunday due to inclement weather. Four Tigers are in a tie for 10th individually at even-par (144) for the tournament.

"So proud of Anna Davis, Casey and Katie- the young ones- for their solid play in tough conditions," Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen said after the round concluded. "They are responsible for keeping us in the tournament. Anna [Foster] started playing better after a rough start which I feel will flow into tomorrow's round. Megan had a very uncharacteristic triple bogey but played solid the rest of the round. The girls feel their best golf has yet to be played."

Sophomore Katie Cranston led the team participants on Monday, carding a 1-under 71 and moving up 22 spots on the leaderboard from the end of the first round into a tie for 10th place. Cranson finished her second round strong, carding three birdies and a 33 (-3) on the back nine.

Freshman Anna Davis and redshirt sophomore Casey Weidenfeld each remained even-par for the event (144) after firing a 72 (E) for the second straight round on Monday. Davis and Weidenfeld are both in a tie with Cranston for 10th place individually.
Megan Schofill recorded Auburn's final counting score in round two, carding a 4-over 76. Schofill is in a tie for 18th place on the individual leaderboard. Schofill and Cranston are tied for third-most birdies in the field over the last two rounds with eight.

Redshirt sophomore Carys Worby, who is competing in the event as an individual, is the fourth Tiger in a tie for 10th place with a 36-hole total of 144 (E) after recording a 1-under 71 in her second round. Worby is leading the field in par-5 scoring average, as she has played the par-5s at Suntree Country Club at 5-under over two rounds.

Ami Gianchandani is also competing in the tournament as an individual and fired an even-par 72 on Monday. Gianchandani is in a tie for 20th place at 2-over (146) for the event.

Tuesday's final round of the Moon Golf Invitational will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. CT. Auburn's team participants will begin the round on hole No. 1 through No. 3 alongside players from LSU, Florida and Northwestern.
