  • Helped hold Troy to just one baserunner from the second through seventh innings.


TEAM NOTES
Auburn's streak of streak of consecutive games with a home run to start the season (16) and consecutive games with multiple home runs (nine) was snapped in the series opener at Vanderbilt … the Tigers' 37 home runs through 19 games are good for 16th in the country … the series marked Auburn's first time getting swept since SEC opening weekend at Arkansas last season … the Tigers went on to win 17 of the next 27 league games … the series also marked the first of four against top-10 teams (according to last week's polls) to start SEC play – at No. 8 Vanderbilt, vs. No. 1 Arkansas, at No. 4 Texas A&M, vs. No. 5 Tennessee … Cooper Weiss was 2-for-2 in stolen bases at Vanderbilt and continues to lead the league in the category (16) … five position players and three pitchers made their SEC debuts at Vanderbilt.
