AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team remains at No. 14 this week in the most recent RoadToNationals.com rankings with an NQS of 197.105.
The NQS rankings take the top six scores, dropping the highest before adding the next five and finding the average. Three of the five scores added together must be on the road.
Oklahoma remains at No. 1 with a 198.420 NQS. California moved up to No. 2 at 197.950, while LSU (197.885), Florida (197.765) and Utah (197.725) round out the top five. The rest of the Southeastern Conference is among the top 20 – Kentucky (No. 6), Alabama (No. 9), Arkansas (No. 12), Missouri (No. 13), and Georgia (No. 20).
Auburn's beam squad is ranked ninth nationally with a 49.345 NQS. The floor squad is 16th at 49.395, while vault is 17th at 49.215. The bars team is 19th with an NQS of 49.225.
Individually, fifth year Cassie Stevens ranks 18th nationally with a 39.500 NQS in the all-around. The Phoenix, Arizona product is tied for 15th on vault (9.9).
Senior Gabby McLaughlin is tied for 20th on beam with a 9.910 NQS, while classmate Olivia Hollingsworth is tied for 29th on floor at 9.915. Hollingsworth is also among the nation's best in the all-around, ranking 27th (39.405).
Auburn continues competition on the road, traveling to Baton Rouge for a neutral quad meet. The Tigers are set to compete in the Podium Challenge in the Raising Cane's River Center on Friday at 6 p.m. CT. Auburn will take on LSU, George Washington and Texas Woman's University.
