AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women’s golf head coach Melissa Luellen announced the team’s 2024-25 tournament schedule on Friday. The schedule features nine regular season team events prior to postseason play.
“Every year, I work to create one of the toughest schedules in the country and this year is no different,” said Luellen. “We are returning to some favorite events at Yeaman’s Hall, Medinah and Old Waverly after a couple years break. Three great golf courses!
“We have added the inaugural Charles Schwab Invitational at Colonial Country Club which should be a treat. The Moon Golf Invitational and the Darius Rucker are both amazing events with top competition. I am excited to travel to each and every tournament!”
The Tigers will open the schedule with four events in the fall, including the Mason Rudolph Championship (Sept. 21-23) where the team posted a runner-up finish last season. Auburn will conclude the fall slate at The Ally McDonald at Old Waverly (Oct. 21-23), an event that the team placed within the top-three in both 2020 and 2021.
Auburn will open the spring with three familiar events including the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (March 3-5), which regularly hosts one of the strongest fields in college women’s golf. The Tigers will then take part in the first ever playing of the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational.
The regular season will wrap up with an individual event at Auburn University Club, the Auburn Individual (March 31).
The 2025 SEC Championship will be held at Pelican Golf Club in Bellair, Florida for the second consecutive season before selections are announced for NCAA Regionals, which will take place May 5-7. This season, regional host schools include Ohio State, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Virginia, Arizona State and Texas Tech.
The NCAA Championship will return to the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Champions Course in Carlsbad, California in 2025 and will be played May 16-21.
