AUBURN, Ala. – Four members of the Auburn men’s golf program will compete at the 124th edition of the U.S. Amateur Aug. 12-18 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.
Senior Carson Bacha makes his third consecutive U.S. Amateur appearance, senior Brendan Valdes and sophomore Jackson Koivun make their second, and sophomore Josiah Gilbert is set to make his first.

Dually hosted by Hazeltine National and Chaska Town Course, the U.S. Amateur hosts 312 of the nation’s top amateur golfers all vying for the Havemeyer Trophy. Monday, Aug. 12 and Tuesday, Aug. 13 will see the men face off in 36 holes of stroke play before the field is cut to 64 ahead of the first round of match play on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
The championship concludes with a 36-hole finale on Sunday, Aug. 18.
