Schofill finished her collegiate career with a WGCA All-American honorable mention and a second team All-SEC selection in 2023-24. She led the Tigers with a 71.65 scoring average in her final season and holds the lowest career scoring average in program history at 72.01 (minimum 60 rounds).
The four-time All-SEC selection recorded four top-10 individual finishes this season for the Tigers, including a tie for third at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic where she fired a 7-under 209. Schofill is currently the 19th ranked amateur in the world according to WAGR.
Anna Davis will be returning to the event after a quarterfinalist finish in 2023. Davis posted a 3-over 143 in the stroke play portion of the championship to qualify for the match play portion where she earned wins over Amanda Sambach, Camille Boyd and Anne Chen.
Davis earned second team All-American and second team All-SEC honors this season after participating in all eight of the Tigers’ tournaments this spring. She captured a top-5 finish at the SEC Championship and won low medalist at the NCAA Auburn Regional by three shots at 5-under (211). Davis finished the year with a 71.68 scoring average and four top-10 individual finishes.
She recently made the cut at the CPKC Women’s Open in Calgary, Canada, and holds a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) of 15th.
The first two rounds of the tournament, which will be played on Monday and Tuesday, will be stroke play. After 36 holes of stroke play, the top 64 players will advance to the match play portion of the event and a playoff will be conducted to trim the draw to exactly 64 players if necessary. The six rounds of match play will be played Wednesday through Sunday.
Golf Channel will carry coverage of the round of 64 from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday before Peacock provides the next two rounds at the same times on Thursday and Friday. Golf Channel will then carry the semifinals on Saturday and the championship match on Sunday from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. CT.
