AUBURN, Ala. – First-year co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux and Auburn softball face a challenging SEC slate, featuring a pair of series with 2024 Women’s College World Series participants, as the league office released the 2025 SEC softball schedule on Wednesday. 

SEC play begins on March 7 and concludes May 3. The conference slate includes eight three-game series for each team for a total of 24 conference games.

Auburn begins league play on the road with a three-game series against Mississippi State in Starkville on March 7-9. The Tigers also visit one of the newest members of the SEC with a road test at Texas on March 21-23. Additional road series for Auburn include Kentucky (April 4-6) and the Malveaux return to Tennessee (April 18-20). 

The Tigers SEC home opener is slated for March 14-16 when Auburn hosts Texas A&M. The stacked home schedule also features series with Florida (March 28-30), Georgia (April 11-13) and South Carolina (April 25-27). 

The 2025 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 6-10 at Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Georgia. 

Game times and television assignments will be announced at a later time as well as Auburn’s non-conference schedule. The 2025 SEC schedule is subject to change, including the move of some conference series to conclude on Monday.
