AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn soccer head coach James Armstrong announced the addition of the Tigers’ first signee under his leadership Friday. Grace Ivey, a transfer midfielder from Texas A&M, will join the program for the spring 2025 semester.
“Welcoming Grace as the first signing of the new era is incredibly exciting,” Armstrong said. “She has the talent, character and experience to make an immediate impact on our program. We cannot wait for her to join the Auburn family!”
A rising junior, Ivey spent the previous two seasons in College Station where she appeared in 27 matches and earned 11 starts. Ivey owns 11 career points on four goals and three assists.
The Jacksonville, Florida native scored all four of her goals last season. Two were netted in Southeastern Conference play with the first coming in the 66th minute of the Aggies 4-1 win over the Tigers.
As a four-year letterwinner at Bartram Trail High School, Ivey racked up 59 goals and 59 assists en route to becoming the Florida High School Gatorade Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023. She also earned varsity letters in track & field while at BTHS.
