FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Freshman Lora Komoroczy managed the fifth-fastest swim in Auburn history in the 100 back on Friday, highlighting Day three of the 2025 Women’s NCAA Championships inside the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center. With one day of action remaining in Federal Way, the Tigers sit 32nd with six points.

Sophomore Morgan Carteaux led off the morning session in the 100 fly. Her 52.78 was good enough for 45th place.

Meanwhile, freshman Audrey Crawford went 4:16.51 in the 400 IM to take 43rd. Moments later, fellow rookie Julia Strojnowska dialed up a 1:47.71 to finish 47th in the 200 free.

Senior Anastasia Makarova swam the final 100 breaststroke of her career, hitting the wall 32nd at 59.64.

It was Budapest, Hungary native Lora Komoroczy, though, who delivered the best performance for the Orange and Blue on Friday. Her 51.28 in the 100 back narrowly missed finals. Komoroczy would settle for 17th place as well as the fifth-fastest swim in Auburn history.

The 400 medley relay was disqualified due to an early takeoff on the final leg.

Saturday signals the final day of competition, bringing the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 1650 free, platform diving and the 400 free relay. Prelims begin at Noon CT. Each session will be streamed live on ESPN Plus and live results can be found on Meet Mobile.
