ORLANDO, Fla. – Hamza Nasridinov, Billy Blaydes and Freddy Blaydes will represent Auburn this week at the 2025-26 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships at the USTA National Tennis Campus in Orlando, Florida. Nasridinov will open play in the singles championship on Tuesday, while the Blaydes brothers begin their pursuit of the doubles title on Wednesday.
Nasridinov earned his spot in the singles field after reaching the semifinals of the ITA South Sectional Championship earlier this month. This marks the sophomore’s first appearance in the NCAA singles championship.
He has enjoyed an impressive fall season for the Tigers, posting a 13-1 record, including ranked wins over No. 21 Aleksa Krivokapic of Purdue and No. 62 Niccolo Baroni of Mississippi State. He enters the tournament on a six-match singles win streak. Nasridinov will face Yale’s Vignesh Goginei on Tuesday at 5 p.m. CT in the opening round.
Billy and Freddy Blaydes punched their ticket to the doubles championship by reaching the finals at the ITA South Sectional Championship. The Auburn duo is 5-5 together this fall and holds a national ranking of No. 20. While the twins have not previously competed in this event as a pair, Billy Blaydes played in last year’s doubles championship alongside Will Nolan, advancing to the second round.
The Blaydes brothers will open play Wednesday against Baylor’s Zsombor Velcz and Connor Henry Van Schalkwyk.
The 64-player singles draw will feature one round per day beginning Tuesday, with the championship match set for Sunday. The 32-team doubles draw will also play one round per day from Wednesday through Sunday. In singles, all players reaching the round of 16 earn ITA Singles All-America honors. In doubles, all quarterfinalists secure ITA Doubles All-America recognition.
All matches of the 2025-26 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships will stream live on ESPN+, and live scoring will be available throughout the event at NCAA.com.
