AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off its 11th straight regular season home series win, No. 6 Auburn (9-2) starts its second straight week at home with an in-state showdown against Samford (5-6) Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT at Plainsman Park.
The games will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on ESPN 106.7 FM. It will also be broadcast digitally on SEC Network+.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Samford enters the week with a 5-6 overall record after winning two of three games against Bowling Green last weekend, outscoring the Falcons 18-6 in the last two games.
Offensively, Samford is hitting .267 as a team with 53 runs on 92 hits. Sophomore infielder Jake Souders leads the team with a .415 average and eight stolen bases through 11 games, while redshirt junior outfielder Luke Boykin leads the team with five home runs and 17 RBI.
On the mound, the Bulldogs have turned in a 8.34 ERA with 95 strikeouts and 48 walks in 90.2 innings. The team turned in a 4.50 ERA in four games last week.
Defensively, Samford leads the country with a .995 fielding percentage, committing two errors in 365 chances.
