Kevin Fuhrer is in his ninth overall year at Auburn and second season serving as equipment manager for the men’s and women’s basketball programs.
He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day equipment operations for both teams as well as men’s and women’s tennis. Fuhrer also assists in oversight of the university’s Under Armour budget.
Prior to The Plains, Fuhrer served as a graduate assistant football equipment manager at Western Kentucky from 2010-12. In 2012, he worked at Vanderbilt University in the athletics ticket office until January 2013 and went on to be the assistant equipment manager of football at Vanderbilt until Sept. of 2015.
Fuhrer earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2010 from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. He went on to earn a master’s degree in sports administration and recreation from Western Kentucky University.
Originally from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, he is married to Paige Fuhrer.
