Giulia Koutsoyanopulos joined Auburn softball as the program’s softball intern on October 28, 2024, as announced by co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux.
Koutsoyanopulos comes to the Plains after playing the 2023 and 2024 seasons at Tennessee, where she was a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection.
The Mission Viejo, California, native started 112 games for the Lady Vols. She was a defensive standout, committing just two errors in her Tennessee career to post a .998 fielding percentage. In her two seasons at Tennessee, Koutsoyanopulos totaled 67 hits, scored 51 runs and added 52 RBI.
Koutsoyanopulos began her collegiate career at Arizona, seeing action in 102 contests.
Experienced on the international scene, Koutsoyanopulos competes with the Italian National Team and competed with Team Italy at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
