2024-2025
Competed in 10 meets throughout the season... Earned an NCAA B cut in the 50 free (19.65) and the 200 free (1:34.85)... Began the year with a ninth-place finish in the 200 free (1:36.70) at the SMU Classic... Won the 200 free (1:35.51) at Georgia Tech... Returned to the winner's circle in the 200 free (1:35.31) against South Carolina... Competed at the SEC Championships, finishing 30th in the 50 free (19.65), 41st in the 100 free (43.75) and 30th in the 200 free (1:35.60)... Also helped the 800 free relay to a fifth-place finish (6:11.72)... The 6:11.72 in the 800 free relay at SECs was the third-fastest time in school history.

2023-2024
Competed in 11 meets throughout the season... Earned NCAA B cuts in the 50 free (19.70), 100 free (42.98) and 200 free (1:33.88)... Started the year with a fourth-place finish in the 100 free (44.83) at Louisville... Scored seven points at the SEC Championships, finishing 18th in the 200 free (1:34.53), 27th in the 50 free (19.70) and 32nd in the 100 free (43.70)... His 1:33.88 in the 200 free moved VanZandt to No. 8 all-time in Auburn history.

2022-2023
Competed in eight meets throughout the season... Earned an NCAA B cut in the 200 free (1:35.35)... Started his collegiate career with a fifth-place finish in the 50 free (20.80) at LSU... Swam his season-best in the 200 free (1:35.35) at the AU Invite... Produced a season-best 43.80 in the 100 free at the First Chance Invite... Delivered a season-best 20.18 in the 50 free at the UGA Fall Invite.

1st place in the 100 free at UIL Region 3-5A Championship... 1st place in the 50 free at the UIL Region 3-5A Championship... 2nd place in the 500 free at UIL 5A Boys State Championship... 3rd place in the 100 free at UIL 5A Boys State Championship... Ranked 27th in Texas.
