Education: Ostendorf received his bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in political science from the University of Alabama in 2009.

Job responsibilities: Ostendorf manages the website and app for Auburn Athletics while also serving as the primary men's basketball contact for email and marketing. He continues to write feature stories for AuburnTigers.com as well. 

Past experience: Ostendorf came to Auburn from ESPN where he spent five years covering college football. The primary role the first year was recruiting coverage, but he transitioned to his role as an SEC reporter with an emphasis on Auburn football coverage the last four years. Prior to his time at ESPN, Ostendorf worked for The Tuscaloosa News and Rivals.com.

Personal: A native of Fishers, Indiana, Ostendorf and his wife Alina reside in Auburn with their daughter, Eloise.
