Education: Shaffer graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast News and News Editorial Journalism and in 2021 with a master’s degree in Recreation and Sport Administration with a graduate certificate in intercollegiate athletic administration.

Job Responsibilities: Shaffer is an Academic Counselor working with football.

Past Experience: Shaffer was the Assistant Director for the Bratzke Student-Athlete Academic Success Center at Eastern Kentucky University where she was the Athletic Academic Advisor for the football team, prior to joining Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS). She previously served as Academic Coordinator in the Student-Athlete Success Center (SASC) at Western Kentucky University, working with women’s basketball, football, softball, and tennis. She also served as a graduate assistant at the SASC and spent time as both Mentoring Program Coordinator and Tutoring Program Coordinator.
