Began at Auburn: Zinsmayer started at Auburn in the fall of 2024.

Education: Zinsmayer graduated from Ohio State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He earned his master’s degree in sports administration from Arkansas State University.

Job Responsibilities: Zinsmayer serves as an athletic trainer for the football team.

Experience: Zinsmayer began his career in sports medicine as an athletic training student at Ohio State University where he gained experience working with multiple different teams including: men’s basketball, women’s rowing and football. In 2019 he had the opportunity to work as a pre-season athletic training intern with the New York Giants. While working to earn his master’s degree Zinsmayer worked as an intern athletic trainer with Florida Atlantic University football in 2021-22 and subsequently with Georgia Tech football and women’s tennis in 2022-23. Zinsmayer also served as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023.

Personal: Zinsmayer grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia and now resides in Auburn.
