Adam Nebel joined the Auburn baseball staff as the graduate assistant of sports science prior to the 2024 season.
In his role with the program, Nebel will use his extensive understanding of the KinaTrax motion capture technology to work collaboratively with the coaching staff, strength and conditioning staff and athletic training staff to integrate different aspects of the players' lives to optimize health and performance.
Nebel previously worked as a student athletic trainer and researcher with the Arkansas baseball program from 2020-22.
Nebel is working towards his Ph.D. in kinesiology with an emphasis in biomechanics and is expected to graduate from Auburn in 2025. He earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Boise State in 2020 and master's in athletic training from Arkansas in 2022.
Nebel is a certified athletic trainer with licensure in good standing in Alabama and an active member of the American Baseball Biomechanics Society, a society headed by Auburn's Gretchen Oliver, Ph.D. He is also in pursuit of earning strength and conditioning and sports science certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
